Coming To Grips With Being AliveTurns out this upright walking moneky gig doesn't suck all that badly. You get some ups, you get some downs, some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you. I think I'll keep it, and keep you posted about how that works out.
And now, for fun, I'm gonna mark a bunch of stuff in ugly green to indicate it needs updated. Fear not, soon all will be back to our delightful black and red scheme. Some folks do their development in offline files, sissies! BAH! BAH I SAY! Develop on the fly, especially when the code means nothing and does nothing. It's not like the World Bank Monetary Fund is controlled by my font color or something. Sheesh! |

Other Interrests:My 27+ year association with the SCA, in the guise of Earl Cathyn FitzgeraldMusic. All kinds. Except country. Expect an update to this list soon Movies. Once again, all kinds. Updates here soon, too. Poetry. What would a self-indulgent personal website be without some poetry? Woooo, look at my angst! Am I not deep? Deep as the black pit that is my soul. Not so much. Cooking. Doing it, eating it, and watching it on tv. My favorite shows are Molto Mario, Iron Chef America, and IRON CHEF! Sports, especially FOOTBALL! My two favorite teams are the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. I also collect sports cards, though I haven't really bought any in several years. I have an almost complete set of Charles Johnson Rookie cards. He was the #1 Draft Pick by the Steelers in 1994. I'm also working on a Master Set (one of every card produced in a set, including all variations and inserts) of 1992 Donruss Baseball cards. To complete the Master Set, I need a single card from the 8 card Triple Play Preview set, handed out to card dealers in 1991 to preview the products. I also like Baseball and Hockey, but haven't really watched a basketball game since Larry Bird retired. I have been a sports fan for as long as I can remember, and the first team I ever thought of as "my team" was The New York Yankees, roughly in 1970 or so. I was born 18 miles from Yankee Stadium. Then came the Steelers in 1972, and then the Boston Celtics about the same time. A few years later, I started watching hockey, and decided I really liked the New York Islanders. After moving to New Mexico I decided I also like the Colorado Avalanche. I am a Cardinal in three Churches now, the Universal Life Church, the Church of the SubGenius, and The Church Militant of the Outlands. If you're interested in the kinda junk I look at online, my bookmarks file might be worth looking at.

What's New:Divorced. Living well without her, about to lose the "her" in my lexicon. Making new friends, setting up shop, and travelling all over the US. Pretty soon I'll be changing my name to dump the French thing me and the ex made up and take one of the names of one of my great grand-parents from Ireland. After the name change comes the passport, and after that, Europe. Tremble in fear, little continent, tremble in FEAR!
